A BELFAST singer who wowed The Voice UK coaches with a rendition of Kodaline’s All I Want in this week’s round of blind auditions is second favourite to win the show, bookies revealed. Porter may have started her career as a child actor in movies like Curly Sue, but her win on The Voice made her a star. Porter is the first artist to win the show with a female coach. Winning Coach: Christina Aguilera. Most Memorable Performance: Her rendition of 'Somewhere' from West Side Story brought Aguilera to tears.
The 27 year old singer from Wiltshire is favourite with the bookmakers to become the first winner of the singing competition, which is searching to find ‘the voice’. She is the final act in Team Danny after making it through from last week’s semi-final.
She will go up against Tyler James (Team Will), Leanne Mitchell (Team Tom) and Vince Kidd (Team Jessie) will do battle to win £100,000 and a record deal.
The show has come under criticism in the press as ratings began to drop during the live shows. The main complaints being that the results show is pre-recorded.
